Pastor Ezekiel Dachomo has come under fire from former Niger Delta commander and activist Asari Dokubo, who accused him of twisting religious teachings and misleading the public.

Following a surge of online reactions, Dokubo posted on Facebook from 1:33, asserting that Dachomo uses God’s name to advance controversial narratives.

“They are using the name of God in vain,” Dokubo declared, identifying Dachomo as one such individual. He added that some people excel at spreading absurd ideas. His criticism reflects broader concerns about public figures who exploit religion to inflame political or ethnic tensions.

According to Dokubo, prominent personalities who spread baseless accusations and harsh rhetoric contribute to rising tensions in a country already grappling with serious political and security problems.

Observers noted that the clash highlights the fierce debates among Nigerian public figures, especially on social media platforms discussing leadership, security, and religious matters.

Dokubo defended his comments as a measure to protect national unity and encourage responsible dialogue.

Although Dachomo has not officially responded, his online supporters argued that his messages address real issues affecting communities in the Middle Belt and other regions. Dokubo emphasized that invoking God should not serve personal or political objectives. View, More,
