In a recent video circulated by Church Gist, Reverend Ezekiel Dachoma has issued a security alert, claiming that Fulani groups are raising funds to launch attacks intended to disrupt Christmas celebrations. He alleged that Fulani women are contributing ₦100,000 each and men ₦200,000 each for this purpose.

The clergyman asserted that the groups have vowed Christians “will not celebrate Christmas joyfully” and have threatened that people will be “running with rice in our hand.” Reverend Dachoma characterized the alleged mobilization as a preparation for jihad.

He urged his congregation to intensify prayers, declaring that “your prayer is more than an AK-47.” He also acknowledged the support of Senior Pastor Dr. Paul Enenche, who he said provided financial assistance and specifically requested prayers for his safety and ministry. These claims have contributed to heightened anxieties ahead of the festive season.
