Nigerian cleric and founder of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Pastor Paul Enenche, has expressed relief over the release of abducted students in Niger State and worshippers of the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) taken in Eruku, Kwara State. His remarks were captured in a video shared by Voice Network TV on Monday, November 24, 2025.
Addressing his congregation, Enenche confirmed reports of the freed students, stating, “We heard that 50 of the children that were kidnapped in Niger State from the school, 50 of them have escaped back. And then the people from the church in Kwara State.” During the service, he invited a church member whose relatives had been among those abducted in Kwara State to recount the ordeal. She told worshippers that her senior sister, nephew and other residents were rescued without harm. Reacting to her testimony, Enenche said, “That God rescued everybody. I don’t know what happened and I don’t know the process. But when was the last time this kind of rescue happened? Before, if you remember. The girls, the Chibok girls. Yes. You remember all this or not? Forever.”
The pastor illustrated his point with a metaphor, saying, “You know when, when, when, when Hawk carry chick and he’s trying to fly with it and people are quiet, he will go. When you say, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, he moved from the height. From the, he will drop the chick.” He added, “That is what we are doing to the devil right now. No, no, no, not Nigeria. We refuse it. We refuse it in Nigeria.” Enenche went on to denounce alleged agendas threatening national unity, declaring, “The agenda of Islamization is arrested.
