Bayo Onanuga, the senior special adviser on Information and Strategy has taken to his official X handle to react after the Director General of the Department of State Services, Tosin Adeola Ajayi paid a courtesy visit to the president in Aso Villa on Friday night. According to the statements which were shared on his official X handle, he disclosed the reasons behind the visit.
The news regarding the recent visit of the Director General of the Department of State Security Services otherwise known as DSS, Mr Tosin Adeola Ajayi to President Tinubu at Aso Villa on Friday night generated mixed reactions from different quarters after footages from the meeting surfaced online.
According to Bayo Onanuga, the senior special adviser on Information and Strategy in a recent statement which was published on his official X handle on Saturday November 22nd 2025, the DSS was on hand to brief the president on issues bordering security.
It can be recalled that the recent events within the space of just one week had generated tensions, with the president cancelling his scheduled engagements to engage with appropriate authorities to bring a lasting solution to insecurity.
