Kidnap survivor, Victor Izuchukwu, popularly known as Abuja Korea has narrated a terrifying encounter that nearly cost him his life after one of his workers allegedly turned a weapon on him during an attempted abduction in an Abuja estate.
Speaking in an interview on Sahara TV, Izuchukwu detailed how a routine moment at home suddenly escalated into a deadly confrontation.
According to him, the incident began when he noticed strange movements around his compound. His dog, he said, had been unusually aggressive, prompting him to investigate. It was then that he made the shocking discovery. “I saw one of my worker loading his rifle with bullets, his name is Damina. Immediately he cited me, he shot directly at me and unfortunately, the bullet did not meet me so I had to run behind the house,” he recounted.
Izuchukwu explained that the worker, who had been employed for months, was part of a gang that had planned his abduction. Moments after the gunshot, more armed men reportedly invaded the compound, attempting to corner him. He said he hid behind the building while the attackers searched for him, firing sporadically.
