The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has reportedly dismantled what it describes as a US-Israeli anti-security network operating inside Iran, according to a Tuesday report by the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA).

According to Jerusalem Post, the network was taken down after multiple rounds of surveillance and extensive intelligence-gathering operations carried out across several provinces.

IRNA reported that the dismantling was part of a coordinated security effort targeting individuals allegedly linked to foreign intelligence activities.

According to the IRGC, all members of the network have been arrested.

The report further claimed that Israel, in recent months, established a network of Iranian citizens who were recruited to compromise the country’s internal security.

The IRGC asserted that after what it described as Israel’s “defeat” in the Israel-Iran war, Israel shifted its strategy toward destabilizing public order inside Iran.

This shift, according to the report, involved recruiting Iranians to “deceive and betray their own country” by participating in covert operations intended to create unrest.

The IRGC framed the arrests as part of a broader effort to counter external threats and maintain national stability amid rising regional tensions.

The report emerges at a time when relations between Iran, the United States, and Israel remain severely strained.

A senior Israeli official told KAN News that Israel should seek to overthrow the Iranian regime before the end of President Donald Trump’s second term in January 2029.

The official also claimed that Iran has been replenishing its stockpile of advanced missiles, signaling a continuing military buildup despite international concerns.

Regional analysts believe that escalating tensions between Iran and Israel suggest it is “only a matter of time” before another conflict breaks out.

These concerns follow a series of confrontations, mutual threats, and covert operations attributed to both countries in recent years.

Israel has repeatedly accused Iran of destabilizing the Middle East through support for proxy groups, while Iran accuses Israel and the United States of orchestrating sabotage and espionage activities on Iranian soil.

The IRGC insists that the newly exposed network demonstrates ongoing efforts by foreign actors to infiltrate Iran.

Authorities in Tehran emphasized that the arrests reflect the country’s commitment to protecting national security against external interference. View, More,
