Former presidential candidate, Peter Ameh has reacted to the statement that Morris Monye made about the former governor of Anambra state, Peter Obi after he tendered his resignation letter from the Obidient Movement.

The reaction of Peter Ameh was contained in a post that he shared on his official X handle on Thursday, November 13, 2025.

In the post that Morris Monye shared on his official X handle, he announced that he has resigned as Director of Mobilization of the Obidient Movement.

He said he has been spending his personal money in the movement. He also stated that the leader of the movement, Peter Obi has not made any effort to know about the activities in the movement.

Here is what he said;

“No money was given to Directorate of Mobilization. There is no bank account even for the directorate. In fact, Peter Obi has never asked what we are doing in mobilization. Nothing of such, no communication. I spent those personal monies because I believe in the movement as a vehicle for a new Nigeria”.

However, Peter Ameh has now shared his thoughts after the post surfaced online. In a statement that he shared on his page, he flawed the process by which people were appointed to lead the Obidient Movement.

“When you appoint individuals who thrive on the oxygen of public spectacle, this is the chaos you invite.
