In a recent video on Facebook from 03:00, Prominent prophet Primate Elijah Ayodele has issued a stark warning to President Bola Tinubu, urging the administration to prevent what he described as possible United States interference in Nigerian affairs — and giving a tight timeline for action.

Speaking during a prophetic session, Ayodele said Nigeria must guard its sovereignty even as foreign actors deepen their presence in the country. “Two more weeks from now — you should not allow America to step on this world,” he warned. “Though they are already in Nigeria, you should not allow them to act.”

The cleric cautioned that foreign engagement through government ministries could embarrass the presidency and weaken state authority. “They can work with our ministry that is supposed to be independent to do this. It will embarrass his government permanently,” Ayodele said, suggesting that covert collaboration between foreign powers and local institutions risks eroding national autonomy.

Ayodele indicated that such interference could have severe political consequences for the Tinubu administration, urging rapid and decisive measures to block any compromising arrangements. His remarks reflected long-standing concerns among some Nigerians about external influence over security, economic and governance matters.

The prophet’s intervention comes amid broader public debates over sovereignty, diplomacy and the proper limits of foreign cooperation. “You should not allow them to act,” he repeated, stressing that allowing external forces to take operational control would amount to a loss of national dignity and control.
