Primate Ayodele has issued a stern warning to President Bola Tinubu’s administration regarding foreign military presence, emphasizing that Nigeria must not allow the United States to act independently on its soil.

In the video from 03:00, “Two more ways for Tinubu to act. You should not allow America to step on this soil,” Primate Ayodele said, stressing the importance of controlling foreign military operations within the country. He acknowledged that American forces are already present in Nigeria but insisted that their actions must be coordinated with Nigerian authorities.

“They can work with our military than to be independent to do this. It will embarrass his government permanently,” the cleric added, highlighting the potential political and diplomatic consequences if foreign forces operate without oversight.

Primate Ayodele’s caution reflects concerns about national sovereignty and the risks of allowing external powers to exercise military influence unilaterally. He advised that all engagements with foreign forces should be carefully managed to avoid compromising Nigeria’s authority and credibility.

According to the cleric, failure to ensure proper coordination with the Nigerian military could result in lasting embarrassment for the government, implying that independent foreign operations could undermine both public confidence and international standing.

His remarks serve as a reminder to Nigerian authorities of the delicate balance required in handling foreign military cooperation, particularly with powerful nations like the United States.

By emphasizing that America must work in tandem with Nigeria’s military rather than acting independently, the cleric sought to reinforce the importance of national control over security matters. He warned that deviation from this approach could have permanent negative repercussions for the Tinubu administration. View, More,
