Daniel Bwala, the senior special adviser on media and policy communications has taken to his official X handle on Monday November 10th, 2025 to react after he appeared on international television outlet, Fox News to dismiss claims of Christian genocide in Nigeria. According to the statements which were shared on his official X handle, he pointed out that his comments were not just rebuttal, but the actual truth.

The international community and media space has been awash with different narratives following the controversial designation slammed on Nigeria by President Donald Trump and the accompanied threats to sanction military operations.

However, while many within the country believed the alleged Christian genocide were highly unacceptable and foreign intervention were necessary, the international community were of the opinion that the diverse narratives deserves clarifications.

Appearing on FOX NEWS, an international television outlet, the senior special adviser on policy communications, Daniel Bwala spoke extensively about the killings, Donald Trump’s designation and the Nigerian government’s stance on the issue which had grown to become an international concern.

According to his statements, he pointed out that his appearance on Fox News was necessary to set the records straight, as the claims of alleged Christian genocide were false.

He further pointed out that his statements were not mere rebuttals, but Nigeria’s undiluted truth on the matter which he told the international community with courage, clarity and conviction.
