According to the statements which were shared on his official X handle, he questioned the popularity of certain individuals.
The announcement of the results of the recently concluded gubernatorial elections in Anambra State which was held on Saturday November 8th, 2025 across the state generated mixed reactions after the reports went viral across various social media platforms.
The People’s Democratic Party and the Labour Party’s performance during the polls left many stunned given the pedigree of certain individuals that threw their weight behind the respective candidates.
However, the senior special adviser on media to Nyesom Wike, the former governor of Rivers State and FCT minister, Lere Olayinka found the outcome of the polls laughable, especially the performance of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
The candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, Jude Ezenwafor polled a paltry one thousand four hundred and one votes, compared to the winner’s four hundred and twenty two thousands, six hundred and sixty four votes.
