According to a report by The Punch on Saturday, November 8, 2025, a Plateau State cleric, Rev. Ezekiel Dachomo, has vowed to drag the Federal Government and Miyetti Allah before the International Criminal Court (ICC) over the alleged mass killings of Christians in northern Nigeria.
Dachomo, who leads the Church of Christ in Nations (COCIN) in Plateau, said he had embarked on a personal mission to document what he described as “Christian genocide” in parts of Plateau, Benue, and other northern states. The report, he noted, would be presented to the United States and the international community.
In an interview, Dachomo accused both the Federal Government and the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) of denying the killings, saying their silence had emboldened attackers. “Since they said there is no genocide, I will prove them wrong,” he declared.
The cleric, who gained national attention after presiding over the mass burial of victims in Heipang, said he had recorded testimonies, identified mass graves, and visited attack sites including Dogo Nahawa, where he claimed 501 people were killed in one night.
He also alleged that in his own village, 23 residents, including his best friend’s family, were burnt alive.
Dachomo revealed that Nigerians have begun donating funds to support victims, with over ₦7 million raised so far. The money, he said, is being used to help widows, orphans, and displaced farmers rebuild their lives.
He insisted that he would not be silenced or intimidated. “God sent angels to protect me. My life is in His hands. I fear no man,” Dachomo said. View, More,
