In a recent video on Facebook from 10:27, the Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has once again raised the alarm over the growing wave of corruption in Nigeria, accusing top officials of looting public funds while the government turns a blind eye.

Speaking during a live service at his Lagos church, the cleric lamented the level of impunity in public offices, stating, “They are stealing it. They will carry it to go and make billions, and our government, they are looking.” According to Ayodele, the country’s political class has perfected the art of siphoning public wealth without fear of accountability.

The outspoken prophet said Nigeria’s leadership has failed to establish genuine anti-corruption systems, alleging that those entrusted with fighting corruption are themselves compromised. “The system is rotten from the top. Those who are supposed to check corruption are also benefitting from it. That’s why the fight against corruption can never succeed under this kind of atmosphere,” he stated.

Ayodele warned that the continuous theft of national resources would worsen the country’s economic hardship, fuel insecurity, and push millions of citizens further into poverty. He expressed dismay that despite repeated revelations, no meaningful action has been taken by the government to recover stolen funds or prosecute offenders.

“The people in power are pretending as if they don’t know what is happening,” he said. “How can billions disappear from government accounts every year and nobody is held responsible? The truth is bitter, but God will expose them.”

He further cautioned that Nigeria risks economic collapse if leaders fail to embrace integrity and transparency. “You can’t build a nation on corruption,” Ayodele declared. “The cries of the poor are reaching heaven, and judgment will come if there’s no repentance.”

The cleric urged Nigerians to demand accountability from their leaders and pray for divine intervention to cleanse the nation’s political system. “Until we stop celebrating thieves, Nigeria will not progress,” he concluded. View, More,
