A lounge owner identified as Adekunle Ayomide recently narrated his horrific ordeal at the hands of a leader of the anti-robbery squad, Adedokun Yusuf in Osun State. According to his statements which were shared by VANGUARD, he pointed out that the officer went out after the altercation, made some calls and his colleagues arrived and manhandled him.
The news regarding the inhumane treatment meted out to a lounge owner identified as Adekunle Ayomide by some police officers in Osogbo, the Osun State capital generated mixed reactions from different quarters after the reports went viral across various social media platforms.
In a twist of events, Mr Ayomide was whisked away and manhandled by a leader of the anti-robbery squad identified as Adedokun Yusuf and other officers whose identities were withheld after a heated altercation at his hospitality home.
Narrating his horrific ordeal at the hands of the police officers, the lounge owner in an recent statement which was made available to the general public by VANGUARD on Thursday November 6th 2025, disclosed the reasons behind the altercation.
According to his statements, he pointed out that the officer felt his ego was battered after the heated exchange, summoned his colleagues who immediately came to the scene, whisked him away to the station and macheted him.
“The officer went out and make some calls and minutes later some three guys arrived in a pink coloured Toyota Corolla vehicle, one of them wore police jacket. Yusuf pointed at me and on getting to my place, one of them instructed that I sit on the floor but I refused.” He lamented. View, More,
