Dr. Majeed Dahiru, a public affairs analyst, has stated that the angry reactions from some members of the Muslim community over President Donald Trump’s comments about killings of Christians in Nigeria are unnecessary.

In an interview with Nigeria Info FM from 8:35, Dahiru said Trump did not say that Muslims and Christians are at war in Nigeria or that the United States plans to fight Muslims on behalf of Christians in Nigeria. He stated that Trump only said that jihadists and Islamic terrorists are killing Christians in Nigeria and that if the Nigerian government does not stop them, America might intervene
