Solomon Dalung, a former minister, has stated that during the administration of the late President Muhammadu Buhari, Bola Tinubu played a major role in selecting key government officials.

In an interview with Channels TV from 51:21, Dalung said Buhari personally told him that Tinubu nominated former Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, several ministers, advisers, and even heads of government agencies

Dalung questioned why Tinubu, after becoming president, has not included anyone from Buhari’s camp in his government. He said that if Tinubu can point to even one person from Buhari’s camp who currently serves in his administration, he would publicly apologize and support whatever Tinubu is doing.

In Dalung’s words: “Buhari told me in confidence that Tinubu nominated the vice president, Osinbajo, Tinubu nominated some ministers, Tinubu nominated some advisers and even some heads of government agencies. That was a partnership of the agreement they had. Can the president tell me now one person from Buhari’s camp that is in his government? If he can point out one person to me whom Buhari brought I will apologize publicly to him and I will follow whatever he is going to do” View, More,
