Publisher and ADC Chieftain, Chief Dele Momodu, has urged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to remain calm and focused amid Nigeria’s growing political tensions, cautioning that the country risks a “monumental disaster” if governance continues without coherence or strategic direction.
Momodu made the remarks in a statement posted on his verified Instagram account (@delemomoduovation) on Sunday, November 2, 2025. The post, titled “THE MANY THINGS POTUS TRUMP HAS NOT SAID…”, accompanied by a screenshot of an alleged statement from U.S. President Donald J. Trump, addressed global Christian persecution and Nigeria’s security situation.
In his message, Momodu noted that while Trump is widely recognized for his blunt rhetoric, Nigerian political actors must avoid misinterpreting or overreacting to his comments. “Whether you hate POTUS DONALD J. TRUMP or love him, you must in all sincerity credit him with the uncommon ability to say it as he feels it and you go to H€LL if you don’t agree,” Momodu wrote. “I have read his message carefully and can only decode what he has not said above the little he said,” he added.
Speaking directly to President Tinubu, Momodu appealed for restraint, urging him not to be drawn into unnecessary political conflicts. “My appeal, PRESIDENT TINUBU, is to ignore the tantrums of some of his juvenile acolytes and their jejune tantrums. How much oil and gas are we producing that America would lose its sleep over, as being speculated by political jobbers?” he questioned. Momodu expressed worry over what he described as deteriorating governance and weakening international relations. “Nigeria may be heading for a monumental disaster if care is not taken to manage this higgledy-piggledy most carefully,” he warned.

He lamented the absence of effective diplomatic engagement, alleging that the country has lacked proper representation abroad for over two years. “Nigeria has had no diplomatic representation in over two years since the current leadership attained power, and our citizens have only been existing like orphans in far-flung places,” Momodu stated.
The Ovation International publisher further accused the nation’s institutions of operating in submission to the Executive arm. “Nigerian public office holders are now operating Mafia-style whereby they live outlandishly on the commonwealth of their conquered nation, and both the Judiciary and Legislatures have virtually merged, shamelessly, with the Executive,” he said.
