Lere Olayinka, the senior special adviser on media to the former governor of Rivers State and FCT minister, Nyesom Wike has taken to his official X handle to react after leading food manufacturing company, Erisco Foods insisted on prosecuting Chioma Okoli, a Lagos State based entrepreneur. According to the statements which were shared on his official X handle, he asked about the whereabouts of her online supporters.
The legal battle involving leading Nigerian food manufacturing company, Erisco Foods and 39-year-old Lagos State based entrepreneur, Chioma Okoli took a dramatic turn as the company called another witness to testify against her.
It can be recalled that an honest online review on her official Facebook page by the entrepreneur had landed her in serious trouble as the leading food manufacturing company not only found her remarks contentious, but damaging to the brand image.
The recent twist in the ensuing legal battle however, generated mixed reactions from different quarters, including Lere Olayinka, the senior special adviser on media to the former governor of Rivers State and FCT minister, Nyesom Wike.
According to the statements which were shared on his official X handle, he asked about the whereabouts of her online supporters who had praised her boldness. This, indicated that many who supported the viral statements of Chioma Okoli had gone silent.
The predicament of Chioma Okoli had generated grievous concerns amongst many, however, her statements which many believed were capable of damaging the image of Erisco Foods were widely condemned.
