According to a report that was published on the official X account of DAILY TRUST on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, the Sultan of Sokoto, Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar has reacted to claims that Christians are being killed in Nigeria.
In the report that surfaced online, the Sultan of Sokoto stated that the claims are being made by Western countries like the United State of America, Canada and several others.
The Sultan of Sokoto said the reports are false and misleading. He said the issue of insecurity is a matter affecting everyone and security operatives are doing their best.
While speaking at the 2025 General Assembly of Northern Traditional Council in Kebbi state, Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar said the military and other security agencies should be commended for their efforts in curbing insecurity.
According to DAILY TRUST, the Sultan of Sokoto said that;
“They have been saying there was genocide of Christians in Nigeria by the Western countries such as the USA, Canada and others. Where, when? These are false stories”. See, More, Here>>>
