Prophet Joshua Iginla, the founder and senior pastor of Champions Royal Assembly, recently took to Facebook to deliver a stern warning against unnecessary competition and comparison, particularly on social media.

“Stop competing with people. Nobody will show you their failures on social media. Don’t let social media manipulation make you feel like you are not doing well,” Iginla advised.

In the sermon video, He emphasized that many people appear successful online, showcasing beautiful cars and houses, but in reality, they are burdened by significant struggles. “There are people who can perform well on the street of social media; they have beautiful cars and beautiful houses, but in real life, they are stuck. They are burdened by the weight of their own struggles. Be very careful. There is too much packaging that can deceive you if you compete with them.”

Iginla stressed the futility of competing with those who have nothing substantial to offer. “Stop competing with people who have nothing substantial to show. Hear me well: don’t live a life of competition. Remove your eyes from some people because you can’t do what they are doing. My daughter, you can’t do what they are doing. My brother, some of them are in Dubai, tied down like dogs, and they sleep with men like animals. Their videos are everywhere, and they look useless. That’s not who you should compare your life with.”

He highlighted the hollow nature of such lifestyles, referring to them as “suffering and smiling” and having “empty fame.” Iginla concluded his message with a reminder of true blessings, stating, “The blessing of the Lord makes one rich and adds no sorrow.”
