The brother of late gospel singer Moronkola Aduke Ajayi, popularly known as Aduke Gold, Pastor Engineer Ebunoluwa Oluyemi Noah, has revealed more heartbreaking details about her death during an interview from 11:59 on Talk To B Podcast on Friday, October 17, 2025.

In his emotional narration, Noah explained how the family only discovered the real cause of Aduke’s death after receiving her death certificate. “I challenged her manager, Mayowa. How come? What caused Aduke’s death?” he said. “He didn’t even open up. He only said she was feeling somehow. She has been going to one hospital or the other and from there they took her to one hospital in Begger, from there to LASUTH. How come? What’s the issue? Until I saw the death certificate and I saw cervical cancer,” he added.

Noah expressed shock that no one in the family or among her close friends knew about her health condition. “Aduke was going through all this and nobody was aware. Nobody. Honestly, nobody was aware that Aduke had cervical cancer,” he said.

Describing her as cheerful and active, he added, “All along, Aduke has been a very playful person. As at that time, there were no traces of such. She was even getting fatter because by the time she came back from the UK, she was fat. She had put on so much.”

He further revealed that the singer had already undergone chemotherapy before her death. “She has done chemotherapy — the first one, the second one — and was about doing the third one. The day she died, they said they were preparing for the third chemotherapy. They had been in the hospital for like one week, so the manager had to come to Lagos to freshen up and do one or two things. By the time he got back, they said Aduke had taken ginger and garlic that triggered blood again from her system. Before they knew it, she couldn’t survive it. So that’s what we know,” Noah stated.
