Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, former governor of Abia State and current senator representing Abia North, has declared his readiness to embark on an intensive grassroots campaign ahead of the next election season.

Speaking in an interview 46:44, Kalu revealed that he plans to dedicate several months to reconnecting with his constituents and mobilizing support across the state. According to him, “I’m going to be in Abia State for four to five months and will be campaigning every day and night,” emphasizing his determination to personally engage communities and strengthen his political base.

The former governor noted that he remains deeply committed to the development of Abia North and the success of his party at both state and national levels. He said that politics should not be limited to media appearances or rallies but should involve real engagement with the people, understanding their challenges, and providing solutions.
