Reacting to the incident on his X account, Olayinka said he was disappointed to hear Rufai address the minister as “you guys.” According to him, such language is not appropriate when speaking to a government official in an official capacity.
Olayinka added that he had once advised Rufai on proper professional conduct, especially in journalism, where respect and courtesy are important when interviewing public officials.
