Senator Adams Oshiomhole has stated that the government of former President Goodluck Jonathan took almost two weeks before admitting that the abduction of the 276 Chibok schoolgirls in 2014 was real.

In an interview with Channels Television  from 44:00, Oshiomhole said he was part of the delegation that accompanied late Muhammadu Buhari to the White House during Barack Obama’s tenure. He said Obama told them that the abduction of the schoolgirls was like a bullet to the heart of the international community, but what hurt more was that the Nigerian government in Abuja appeared unaware of the incident and acted as if nothing serious had happened.

In Oshiomhole’s words: “I was privileged to be in the delegation of President Muhammadu Buhari to the White House, under President Obama. And one of the things Obama said to us then was that incident, not the fact that 200 children were kidnapped from school, that was according to him like a bullet to the heart of the international community, but even painful was that Abuja seemed to be unaware that this happened and there was a level of denial that nothing went wrong” See, More, Here>>>
