In a recent statement on his official X account, Professor Pat Utomi, a well-known political economist, management expert and former presidential aspirant has expressed his thoughts on Minister of FCT and former Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike.
This comes as a result of Wike’s ongoing conflicts with his successor, Governor Fubara, and his recent clashes with Senator Shehu Sani and an FCT Senator.
Professor Utomi referenced a biblical passage to highlight his point.
“Reflecting on Amos. And he that is courageous among the mighty shall flee away naked in that day (2:16) I wonder if Nyesom Wike is of this kindred. A foreign diplomat wondered what to make of a country where someone of Wike’s pedigree ’thrives’. The contempt with which he and his co-travelers treat people, social order and governance with incivility as his anchor beggars belief and would get the herdsman of Tekoa in the time of King Uzziah breathing fire into the house of pretend leaders,” Pat Utomi wrote.
Utomi’s statement underlined Wike’s behavior and its implications for Nigeria and criticized Wike’s conduct and the way he treats people, social order, and governance.
