In a recent statement via his official X account, former Aviation Minister Femi Fani-Kayode has called for an uncompromising response to terrorists in Nigeria while reacting to recent killing in Kwara State.
He said the only way to deal with them is to kill every one of them.
He added that there must be no talks or negotiations with those who kill innocent people.
”The only way to handle terrorists is to kill every single one of them and send them back to hell. There can be no negotiation or discussion with psychopath and the sons of perdition who kill innocent women and children at will and for gain and pleasure,” he wrote.
Fani-Kayode described the attackers as psychopaths and “sons of perdition.”
He said they kill women and children for gain and for pleasure.
He wrote that there can be no compromise with such people.
The former minister said security agencies must be supported to act decisively.
He urged citizens to help identify collaborators and local networks that aid the terrorists.
He said exposure of these collaborators is vital to ending attacks.
Fani-Kayode warned against treating the violence as a mere crime problem.
He said terrorism is a deliberate attempt to destroy communities and to weaken the nation.
He argued that half measures will only encourage more violence.
He praised the efforts of the military and other security forces so far.
He said their work must be backed by stronger logistics and a larger presence in troubled areas.
He also asked state governments to provide more support to the security agencies.
His statement came after a recent attack in Kwara State in which forest guards were killed.
He also referenced an earlier attack in Zamfara State.
He said these attacks show that extremists remain dangerous and active. See, More, Here>>>
