Nigerian music star Tiwatope Omolara Savage, popularly known as Tiwa Savage, has revealed the only condition under which she would be willing to fall in love again.
The award-winning singer and songwriter made this disclosure during an exclusive sit-down with The Breakfast Club, where she opened up about her personal life and emotional struggles.
During the conversation, Tiwa was asked to clarify a line from one of her recent songs in which she declared that she would “never love again.” The question, she admitted, touched a deep part of her reality.
In her response, Tiwa Savage explained that her reluctance to open her heart stems from painful experiences in her past relationship. According to her, the trauma she endured left scars that have made her cautious about giving love another chance.
The singer described the heartbreak as one of the most difficult chapters of her life, stressing that it has created fear about allowing any man close enough to hurt her again. She said she has since built walls around herself to protect her peace and happiness.
When pressed further on whether there could ever be a possibility of change, Tiwa admitted there is only one circumstance under which she would reconsider. “I will fall in love again only if God Himself comes down from heaven and chooses the right man for me,” she declared.
The singer noted that she remains focused on her music career and her personal growth, pointing out that love is not her priority at this stage. She added that healing is still an ongoing process for her.
