A photo which captured the moment Aisha Yesufu and Randy Peters were sitting on the ground in solidarity with the lawmaker representing Kogi Central at the National Assembly, Senator Natasha Akpoti has been shared online.
The photo was shared on the official X handle of THE GUARDIAN on Wednesday, September 24, 2025.
This is coming after the Deputy Director, Sergeant-at-Arms, Alabi Adedeji, unsealed the office of the Kogi lawmaker after it was sealed for several months.
According to report, the unsealing of the office led to a large number of Natasha Akpoti’s supporters marching to the National Assembly complex to celebrate the feat.
The report further stated that many of the supporters were prevented by security operatives from following the Kogi lawmaker into her office which led to Aisha Yesufu and Randy Peters sitting on the ground.
