Apostle Johnson Suleman, the founder and senior pastor of Omega Fire Ministries International, has openly condemned the emphasis some Christian teachers place on the Antichrist and the millennial reign, stressing that such teachings are unnecessary for true believers in Christ.
During a recent sermon from 02:06:10, Suleman revealed that a member had written to him, asking why he had never devoted time to preaching extensively about the Antichrist and the thousand-year reign. In response, the cleric explained that those expecting such messages would keep waiting, as he considers them irrelevant for the believer’s spiritual journey.
“No believer in Christ needs such teaching,” Suleman declared. He explained that the Antichrist is an event that will unfold after the rapture, when faithful Christians will already be taken up. Therefore, focusing teachings on the Antichrist is like “teaching people how to prepare for failure” instead of preparing them for eternal victory.
The preacher noted that while he has taught on topics such as the 144,000 sealed in Revelation, the 70th week of Daniel, Gog and Magog, and the two faithful witnesses, he avoids focusing on the Antichrist because it misdirects the believer’s attention. According to him, salvation in Christ guarantees exemption from such tribulation.
“Why will I teach you about the Antichrist when we will not be here when he reigns?” he asked, emphasizing that the believer’s goal should be to remain part of the “first batch” – those raptured to be with Christ.
Suleman concluded by urging Christians to prioritize messages that deepen their knowledge of God and strengthen their relationship with Him, rather than chasing after speculative doctrines that fuel fear and confusion…Explore , More , News
