In a recent video shared on YouTube from 4:42, the Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, issued a stern warning to the African Democratic Congress (ADC), cautioning the party of looming internal challenges that could threaten its stability.
Speaking directly to the party leadership, Primate Ayodele declared, “The ADC, I have this warning for you. Irrespective of your desire, you are going to face a very big storm, a very big challenge that will separate your party.”
The cleric, known for his frequent prophecies on politics and national events, suggested that the ADC may soon experience a major internal crisis that could weaken its structure and reduce its chances in future political contests. He explained that unless the leadership acts swiftly to unify members, divisions may emerge, leading to breakaway factions and eventual decline in influence.
Founded in 2005, the ADC has positioned itself as an alternative platform to Nigeria’s dominant political parties, the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). Over the years, the party has attempted to present itself as a reformist force, drawing support from civil society and young Nigerians who seek credible governance.
However, Ayodele’s prophecy raises concerns about the party’s ability to withstand internal pressures, especially as the country moves closer to another election cycle. He urged party leaders to embrace transparency, fairness, and genuine reconciliation in managing disputes, warning that ignoring the signs could lead to the party’s collapse.
