According to a report by Daily Post on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, Yinka Yusuf, the founder of House of Love Church, has declared that former Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, will secure at least 30 million votes in the 2027 presidential election.
The cleric expressed confidence that Obi has what it takes to challenge the current political structure and promised to play an active role in mobilizing support across the country.
He made it clear that plans are already underway to ensure Obi emerges strongly in the next general election.
Yusuf explained that his commitment goes beyond words, as he is determined to help Obi organize and reach Nigerians at different levels.
According to him, the aim is to gather a wide base of supporters who will stand firmly behind the former Anambra State governor.
He maintained that this vision will be driven by deliberate steps to influence the political process ahead of 2027.
The cleric revealed that there are strategies being designed to support Obi’s presidential ambition but insisted that he would not disclose them for now.
He emphasized that these strategies will go beyond traditional campaign methods and will be aimed at shifting the political landscape in Obi’s favor.
He also said that the plans are capable of changing the way politics is conducted in the country.
Yusuf further claimed that the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, led by President Bola Tinubu, is worried about the growing strength of Obi’s Obidient Movement.
He suggested that the ruling party sees the movement as a real threat because of the level of passion and energy it commands among Nigerians, especially the youth.
This, according to him, is the reason why Obi remains a strong force in national politics despite losing in the last election.
He stressed that Obi does not need to be perfect to deserve support, noting that no leader has all the answers, instead, Yusuf described Obi as a good man who can be trusted, even though he is not a saint.
He highlighted that trust is what matters most and that is why he is willing to stand with him.
The evangelist also stated that Obi’s campaign structure would need to be reviewed and improved upon to meet the challenges of 2027.
He disclosed that he and others who believe in Obi are already working on plans to restructure the campaign machinery.
This, he said, would ensure that the message reaches more Nigerians and mobilizes greater participation in the coming years.
Yusuf concluded by saying that the changes being planned for Obi’s political journey will be surprising, even to Obi himself.
He stressed that the movement around him will not only focus on elections but also aim to redefine politics in Nigeria.
According to him, the goal is to create a system that empowers ordinary citizens and gives them a stronger voice in governance.
He said: “He is not a saint and doesn’t have it all but he’s a good man and I trust him, because I trust him, we are going to stand with him. Coming to his campaign strategy, we are going to get involved and restructure it. The plans we have for Peter Obi, he wont believe it, we are going to change the political system.
