According to a report by Times of Israel, on September 9, 2025, Israel’s military leadership has sent a clear message that the recent strike on Hamas leaders in Qatar signals a broader campaign to confront its enemies wherever they may be.
Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir, Chief of Staff of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), said the operation demonstrates Israel’s commitment to “settle accounts” with adversaries globally.
