According to Sofascore, Some African National Teams were in action on Thursday, playing their respective matches in the CAF World Cup qualifiers. Impressive wins were recorded by several teams in the qualification round and we will be looking at some of the matches in today’s article.
Chad vs Ghana
The Black Stars of Ghana were in action today when they travelled to face Chad in an entertaining encounter. Ghana scored first in the 17th minute of the match courtesy of a brilliant opening goal by Jordan Ayew. Chad, the underdogs, were able to restore parity with a late equalizer from Célestin Ecua. Both teams eventually shared the points at full-time.
Cameroon vs Eswantini
Cameroon didn’t disappoint when they hosted Eswantini at the Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium in this encounter. The Indomitable Lions came out with a superb performance on the pitch, earning them a convincing 3-0 victory against Eswantini. First half goals from Arthur Avom Ekong, Gift Gamedze, and Geroges-Kévin N’koudou secured maximum points for Cameroon.
Algeria vs Botswana
Algeria faced Botswana at the Hocine Ait Ahmed Stadium in what turned out to be an easy clash for the team. The Desert Warriors delivered a splendid performance in the match as they comfortably defeated Botswana 3-1 thanks to Baghdad Bounedjah’s brace and a goal from Mohamed El Amine Amoura.
