The Chairman of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, NIDCOM, Abike Dabiri-Erewa has reacted after Arise TV presenter, Rufai Oseni accused her of sharing a post that has ethnic slur.
Abike Dabiri’s statement was contained in a post that she shared on her official X handle on Wednesday, September 3, 2025.
This is coming after Rufai Oseni told her that her action was wrong;
Here is what Rufai Oseni wrote on his page;
“This is wrong, we must be united as a nation”.
However, Abike Dabiri has now shared her thoughts after the post surfaced online. Her response came after an X user defended her.
Here is what the X user wrote on his official page;
“Dear Rufai Oseni, in the original tweet, madam Abike laughed. The word Igbo was not even mentioned. Go back and read it line by line. You people are deliberately dragging in ethnicity where it wasn’t even typed”.
Reacting, Abike Dabiri appreciated the X user for the comment that he made. She however, urged Rufai Oseni to read through the statement carefully.
Here is what Abike Dabiri wrote on her page;
“Thank you very much. So on point. No more comment. Rufai Oseni, read through this carefully”.
