Former Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Solomon Dalung, who is a member of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has stated that the party is full of surprises and that what is happening within the party today will become one of the most remarkable case studies in Nigerian politics.
According to a report by Nigerian Tribune on Saturday, August 30, 2025, Dalung said Tinubu once mocked the ADC by describing it as a camp for Internally Displaced Persons. He said ADC has proven itself to be a real political force and that Nigerians should expect more surprises from the party in the future.
Dalung said before President Tinubu knows what is happening, he may realize that by May 29, 2027, he should be preparing to leave office and return to his home state of Lagos. He said, “And more surprises are coming. Before they understand what is happening, Tinubu may realise that by May 29, 2027, he should be preparing to return to Lagos.
