U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham has hailed the reported killing of senior Iranian figure Ali Larijani, describing it as a significant setback for Iran’s leadership and security structure.

In a statement shared on his verified social media account, Graham characterized Larijani as one of the central figures behind what he called the repression of the Iranian people. He alleged that Larijani played a key role in maintaining the country’s internal security system, which he accused of targeting both citizens and regional opponents.
