Chidi Odinkalu, former chairman of the national human rights commission and renowned legal practitioner recently reacted after the former governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha was captured leading praise session during a church service on Sunday. According to the statements which were shared on his official X handle, he pointed out that the former governor was responsible for running Imo State aground.
The former governor of Imo State and renowned lawmaker, Senator Rochas Okorocha caused a stir after he was captured leading a praise and worship session during a church service on Sunday August 24th, 2025.
The church, according to the statements which were shared by Chidi Odinkalu, a renowned human rights lawyer and former chairman of the national human rights commission, belonged to the former governor.
However, according to the statements which were shared on his official X handle, the legal expert expressed his surprise that a man of Rochas Okorocha’s personality will be engaged in such activities, a testament to the mercy of God.
Rochas Okorocha whom he described as a ‘petty rogue’ and accused him on destabilizing Imo State, was now born again. The name of his church, according to Chidi Odinkalu was Rochas International Church, AKA Family Victory Chapel located in the FCT.

“Anayo Rochas Okorocha, the petty rogue who ran Imo State into the ground as the state governor, is now born again. He is now a Pastor and General Overseer, Rochas International Church…..” He wrote.
