The governor of Osun state, Senator Ademola Adeleke has taken to his official X account on Sunday, August 24, 2025 to react after some residents took tape rule to measure the flyover bridge that he constructed at the Oke Fia area of the state.
According to the video that surfaced online, the residents went to measure the road at night. In the video that surfaced, they said they came out to measure the road because some people are claiming that it is too narrow. After their assessment, they concluded that the road is wide enough to take two vehicles and one motorcycle.
One of the residents said that;
“We are right here at Oke Fia Flyover. We came to measure the road because some people are saying the road can not accommodate two vehicles at the same time. The road can accommodate two vehicles and one motorcycle at the same time”.

Reacting, the governor of Osun state commended the people for taking time to assess the road.
Here is what Senator Ademola Adeleke wrote on his official X handle;
“While I deeply appreciate this unfiltered and honest assessment from the public, I appeal to the good people of Osun to allow the contractors to fully complete and certify the project as safe before making use of it”.
