Popular Nigerian gospel singer Adeyinka Oluwatobi, also known as Nifemi Gold, has revealed the terrible experience she had with a music producer who used to work for her at the time, while also stating how she felt after the incident happened between the two of them.
According to the video that was posted on the official YouTube channel of Wasilacoded TV on Friday, August 22, 2025, during an interview, she disclosed that her producer suddenly entered her room, he locked the door, and he forcefully abused her inside her room.
According to Nifemi Gold, she said, “When I wanted to sleep at night, I told the kids that were staying with me not to close the door so that they would be able to check on me from time to time. When it was around 12 a.m., the kids came to wish me a happy birthday, and they left the room. I like to sleep with my stomach on the bed because I had a spinal cord injury, so I’m always comfortable sleeping that way. I heard the sound of the door opening, and I called on my child to ask if he was the one that opened the door, but nobody answered me. My producer suddenly entered my room and forcefully had sex with me in the presence of my kid. My child was hitting him, but he grabbed my child by his two arms and told me that he already locked the door and that no matter how much I make, nobody will hear me. I started crying, and the scar from the incident still pains me up till this moment. He turned my back, and I had a sound from my spinal cord, and my spinal cord injury became even worse. He called a pastor in my presence who threatened me that if I tell anybody about what happened, I would die, but I told them I won’t die, and I left everything in the hands of God to judge between me and the producer.
