Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has vowed to resist attempts by his political adversaries to tarnish his reputation. In a video statement posted by Sahara TV from 5:55, Fubara addressed the critics, saying, “When our enemies want to portray us in a bad light, they’ll say Asawana, but I’m not going to indulge in such tactics.”
Instead, the governor reaffirmed his commitment to working with Ekweremeka, a move that signals his focus on governance rather than political vendettas. Governor Fubara demonstrated his dedication to the well-being of the people of Rivers State, refusing to be distracted by petty politics.
He emphasized the importance of effective leadership and accountability in governance. Fubara announced the replacement of the chairman of the council, pointing out that his leadership is not in line with his government.
