The founder of Ovation Magazine, Dele Momodu has reacted after an X user said the former governor of Osun state and current National Secretary of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, Rauf Aregbesola should be made to face the wrath of Yoruba people for not supporting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Dele Momodu’s statement was contained in a post that he shared on his official X handle today, August 16, 2025.

His statement is coming after the X user said the former governor of Osun state should be supporting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu because he is a Yoruba man.

Here is what the X user wrote on his page;

“Aregbesola should face the wrath of Yorubaland. He should be made an example in modern times of what happens to sellouts on a self serving mission”.

However, Dele Momodu has now shared his thoughts after the post surfaced online. In a statement that he shared on his page, he disagreed with the X user.

He said it will be dangerous if every tribe promotes such thing.

Here is what Dele Momodu wrote on his page;

“This mindset is extremely dangerous unless some desperate politicians have decided to break up a country they’ve all benefited from because of an obsession with automatic second term strictly based on primordial considerations”.
