Omoyele Sowore, former presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), has stated that although Governor Siminalayi Fubara is a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), he has unofficially joined the All Progressives Congress (APC)
In a video shared by TV Platinum from 2:00, Sowore said he’s unsure whether Fubara will formally join the APC, but he believes Fubara has accepted the conditions given to him for his return to office. He said Rivers State is now politically controlled by APC
In Sowore’s words: “Fubara has already joined APC unofficially, I don’t know if he will join officially but whether it is official or unofficial just know that Fubara is only going back as governor because he has agreed to whatever conditions they gave to him. He has capitulated. What that tells you is that they have already captured Rivers State, not only the votes there but the resources which is very important. That is what they are after”
