During an interview with Arise TV from 4:28, former Deputy Speaker of Edo State, Honourable Paul Ohonbamu, responded to repeated questioning from anchor Rufai Oseni regarding Monday Okpebholo, the APC gubernatorial candidate. Ohonbamu firmly rebutted claims made by Emmanuel Odigie that Okpebholo was unqualified, asserting Okpebholo’s strong reputation in Edo and globally. He emphasized Okpebholo’s significant contributions, mentioning his pivotal role in a prominent Israeli satellite company with global branches, refuting Odigie’s allegations of incompetence.
Addressing Okpebholo’s impact on Edo Central, Ohonbamu highlighted transformative changes facilitated by Okpebholo’s intellectual prowess. He pointed out that even Odigie, who criticized Okpebholo’s qualifications, had benefited from Okpebholo’s achievements in Edo State.
When pressed by Oseni to specify the name of the Israeli company Okpebholo assisted, Ohonbamu responded firmly, “Please, repetition cannot activate our lives. You asked me, and I heard you. Allow me to respond.”
According to him, ” He (Monday Okpebholo) helped the Gino Satcom company, which is similar to IS in Israel, so it has branches all over the world. With this, he has transformed his community, including the whole of Edo Central, with Emmanuel Odigie being one of the beneficiaries.”…..Sée Móre
