A report from Vanguard on Sunday, August 10, 2025, states that Prophet Bomadi Serimoedumu, the founder and General Overseer of Mount Zion Divine Gospel Ministry Inc., has forecasted a potential political return for former President Goodluck Jonathan in 2027.

During a Sunday service at the church’s headquarters, Paradise City Zion, located in Bomadi, Delta State, the cleric—known to his followers as the “Field Marshall of the Prophetic” and the “Secret Revealer of the Niger Delta”—expressed that he envisions Jonathan winning if he decides to run in the upcoming presidential election.

Prophet Serimoedumu stated that he received a revelation through a spiritual vision in which he observed the flag of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) flying higher than all others, with Jonathan holding it aloft—a powerful symbol of victory.

He announced that Jonathan’s return to Aso Rock would be for a single four-year term characterized by economic revival and widespread celebration.

“I see President Goodluck Jonathan back in Aso Rock leading this nation once more. If he decides to run in 2027, he will reclaim the presidency. There will be prosperity, and the people will celebrate,” the prophet declared, emphasizing that Jonathan’s leadership would bring about a time of national joy.

The prophecy comes after a number of previous warnings from the cleric to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, cautioning him about spiritual unrest and increasing insecurity in the nation.

Prophet Serimoedumu also reflected on an important spiritual encounter during the 2023 election period, during which he claims to have had a vision of both Tinubu and his running mate Kashim Shettima asking for his prophetic approval.

“In that vision, Tinubu sat on a chair while Shettima sat on the floor beside him. Tinubu promised to run for only one term and asked for my support. I agreed. But I noticed his running mate was visibly displeased with the one-term idea,” he recounted.
