Human rights activist and candidate of the African Action Congress, AAC, in the 2023 presidential election, Omoyele Sowore has criticized the Nigeria Police Force, NPF for bringing the media instead of getting him a doctor that will treat his broken arm.
This statement was contained in a viral video that was posted on the official X handle of News Central Tv on Friday, August 8, 2025.
This is coming after the former presidential candidate was arrested when he visited the NPF headquarters in Abuja to honour an invitation.
In the viral video that surfaced online, the human rights activist was seen complaining about how they have refused to allow him get a good treatment.
He said he’s disappointed that the whole thing is happening under the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Here is what Omoyele Sowore said;
“Since I came here yesterday, they broke my hand. Instead of them bringing a doctor, they went and brought the media”.
