According to Arise News, the United States and several NATO allies have formally accused Iran of orchestrating cross-border plots aimed at dissidents, journalists, and former officials living in the West.

In a joint statement released Thursday, the allies condemned Iran’s alleged use of state intelligence and proxy networks to carry out assassination attempts and surveillance operations on Western soil.

The rare coordinated rebuke comes amid mounting concerns over Iran’s international conduct, especially following a series of reported foiled plots in the US, UK, and Germany.

Officials cited attempts to silence critics of the Iranian regime abroad through intimidation, kidnapping plots, and in some cases, planned killings.

“The United States and our NATO partners are united in our demand that the Iranian regime cease its campaign of transnational repression, said a senior US State Department official.

“No country should feel unsafe simply because they criticize their former government.

The statement was backed by Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, and the Netherlands, all of whom cited evidence of attempted or thwarted Iranian operations targeting their citizens or residents.

Intelligence agencies reportedly tracked coordinated efforts linked to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and other Iranian security forces.

British Foreign Secretary Anna Jameson said the evidence is deeply troubling and called on Tehran to immediately end these unlawful acts of intimidation and violence.

In one notable quote from the joint declaration, the allies said.

“We urge the Islamic Republic of Iran to immediately cease all plots to conduct lethal operations on the territory of our nations.

Iran has not yet issued a response, however, its officials have previously dismissed similar allegations as politically motivated and part of a Western pressure campaign.

The NATO allies are now considering additional sanctions and diplomatic measures if Iran fails to curb its activities.
