Paul Ibe, the Special Adviser on Media to the former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar has reacted after seeing a video of Atiku speaking about getting the presidential ticket.
Paul Ibe’s statement was contained in a post that he shared on his official X handle on Friday, August 1, 2025.
According to the video that surfaced online, when the former Vice President was asked if he’s confident of getting the presidential ticket of his party, he responded by saying yes.
Here is what Atiku Abubakar said ;
“Have I ever failed to get the ticket? I’m confident that I will get the ticket”.
However, Paul Ibe has now shared his thoughts after the video surfaced online. In a post that he shared on his official X handle, he said the video is an old one.
He blamed mischief makers for posting the video to ridicule the former Vice President. He said the video was made during the 2023 presidential election.
Here is what Paul Ibe wrote on his official X handle;
“It is important to provide the context of this video to deprive mischief makers of the opportunity of misrepresenting what this video is all about”.
