Primate Elijah Ayodele, the spiritual leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church (IESC Worldwide), has issued a strong prophetic declaration regarding the 2027 presidential ambitions of Peter Obi, former governor of Anambra State and presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the 2023 elections.
Speaking via a video message posted to Facebook, the cleric warned Nigerians against placing their hopes in Obi, describing him as a desperate man not empowered by God to lead the nation.
“Peter Obi is not the answer to Nigerians,” Primate Ayodele stated. “He is desperate to be president, but God did not give him that strength.”
According to the prophet, allowing Obi to ascend to the presidency would lead to national instability. He warned of potential confusion and damages should Obi somehow clinch the 2027 election, insisting that divine backing is absent from Obi’s political journey.
“There will be chaotic damages if Peter Obi wins the 2027 presidential election,” Ayodele said emphatically. “Obi will get there and there will be confusion.”
Peter Obi, who finished third in the 2023 presidential election, has not officially declared his intention to contest in 2027. However, his political movement, popularly called the “Obidient” movement, continues to grow in influence.
He stressed in the video that his message was not personal, but a divine revelation meant to forewarn the nation.
