Former presidential aide, Lauretta Onochie has reacted after the senator representing Kogi Central, Senator Natasha Akpoti was locked out of the National Assembly.
Her reaction was contained in a post that she shared on her official X handle on Tuesday, July 22, 2025.
According to THE CABLE, security operatives locked all gates leading to the national assembly complex, preventing Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan from entering the premises.
This is coming after the Kogi lawmaker announced that she will be resuming her legislative duties at the National Assembly.
However, Lauretta Onochie has now shared her thoughts after the report surfaced online. In a post that she shared on her official X handle, she said disregard for the constitution and disrespect for the laws will become the order of the day when evil reigns over a nation.
She made the statement as a result of the recent judgement that delivered by the court in favour of National Akpoti. Lauretta Onochie said she stands with the Kogi lawmaker.

“When evil reigns over a nation, Impunity, lawlessness, disrespect for the laws of the land and disregard for our constitution, become the order of the day”.
