The former governor of Rivers state and current Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike has recalled how the former governor of Anambra state and Labour Party, LP, candidate in the 2023 presidential election, Peter Gregory Obi informed him about his visit to Rivers state.
This statement was contained in a viral video that was posted on the official YouTube page of TVC on Tuesday, July 22, 2025.
The former governor of Rivers state was reacting to the order that Edo state governor, Senator Monday Okphebolo gave Peter Obi when he made the statement.
In the video that surfaced online, Nyesom Wike said Peter Obi informed him he was coming to Rivers state and he provided logistics for him.
Here is what Nyesom Wike said;
“When I was governor and Peter Obi was coming to my state, he notified me he was coming to my state. I provided logistics, vehicles for him to use”.
